BizTalk Developer/Architect

Expert BizTalk Developer

 

One or two expert BizTalk developers are being sought.  The expert BizTalk developer(s) will be responsible for design, development, and testing of various components of the MeF application and for assisting client application developers with their BizTalk coding.

 The expert BizTalk developer(s) must meet the following requirements:

  1. Have 5 + years hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing large-scale BizTalk applications that have included:

Java Designer

Java Designer -- Description: 
·         All the work will be in the Java space and require design skills.
·         5+ years of Java experience.
·         The initial assignment is going to help prototyping user interface (UI) frameworks and analyzing how the solution meets our client's requirements.
·          Experience in JSF Facelets, IBM Business Space, and portlets are all a plus.

SQL DBA

The SQL DBA will assist application development staff and customers in developing business requirements for applications and databases, evaluation of alternative technologies available to address these requirements, and completion of analysis of resource requirements for solutions developed. This individual will perform database lifecycle support including:
  • Logical and physical database modeling
  • Construction of physical databases and normalization of databases
  • Comprehensive testing of databases and associated applications
  • Maintenance and tuning of databases to ensure optimal performance
  • Development of complex scripts for importing and exporting of data
  • Provide reports utilizing SQL Reporting Services and ad hoc queries
 
The SQL DBA will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading the client's SQL database software infrastructure as part of the their technology plan. This individual must have the capability to evaluate and understand complex security requirements and Enterprise standards imposed on the client due to the confidential nature of tax return information maintained in the SQL databases.
 
The SQL DBA must meet the following requirements:
  1. Have 5 + years experience developing and installing database management systems.
  2. Have 5 + years experience in the design and development of complex MS SQL databases operating within a wide area network and internet applications in an environment similar to the Department.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in relational database queries.
  4. Knowledgeable in data transformation, BizTalk preferred.
  5. Have senior-level expertise in the use of VB.Net, ASP.net, ADO.Net, and XML parsing, schema design and development.
  6. Demonstrated experience in application of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for development and deployment of web services.
  7. Proven experience in the development of structured test scripts and plans for use in executing unit and system testing.
Additionally, the individuals selected for either position must meet the following requirements:
  1. Possess strong business writing and interpersonal skills necessary for customer contact.
  2. Be capable of completing multiple programming assignments in a timely manner (perform work as assigned).
  3. Adhere to written established work rules including all confidentiality and security requirements.
  4. Must pass a criminal background check.
  5. Must be up-to-date and in compliance with State of Iowa tax filing requirements.
  6. Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
  7. Be available for work at the client's central office location no later than August 19, 2011 on a full time (40 hours a week) basis.

.Net Developer

 

Our client's team is responsible for web services, web-based applications, and Windows-based applications. Application development is done in a Microsoft .Net environment, primarily utilizing VB.Net. The individual selected will develop, enhance, and support new/existing applications as a member of the E-Services team.
 
A primary responsibility will be development of applications to receive tax data in XML format, validate XML schema, send acknowledgements in XML format, process data in accordance with defined work rules, and move data to the client's information systems.
 
The individual selected will work with the development and support of MeF applications as well as development, enhancement, and support of other new/existing web-based and Windows-based applications supported by the E-Services team. Application development is done in a Microsoft .Net environment, primarily utilizing VB.Net.
 
The individual selected will be expected to provide customer support in a professional manner, to understand the technical requirements placed upon customers, and to prepare clear, concise statements of business issues that require resolution by the application development team.
 
The individual selected must meet the following requirements:
1.    Meet qualifications of an Information Technology Specialist 4 per State guidelines.
2.    Proficient in development of applications utilizing VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, C#, and JavaScript.
3.    Proven experience with XML.
4.    Proficient in relational database queries.
5.    Knowledgeable in data transformation, BizTalk preferred.
6.    Proven experience in the development of structured test scripts and plans for use in executing unit and system testing.
7.    Experienced in providing customer services support regarding data transmission and file formats.
 
 
In addition to the above technical skills the ideal candidate will have the folloiwng skills:
  1. Be capable of multiple programming assignments in a timely manner.
  2. Possess strong business writing and interpersonal skills required for customer contact.
  3. Pass a criminal background check
