Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Developer
Job Summary: Johnson & Associates seeks to hire a PeopleSoft Developer for a 3 month engagement with the possibility of extension with a direct client in Omaha, NE. The candidate will serve as a technical developer as part of the upgrade team for an HRMS 8.9 to 9.1 PeopleSoft upgrade.
Projected Start Date: May 2010
Duration/Status: Hourly/3 month contract, with the possibility of extension
Compensation: Paid bi – monthly, dependent upon experience
Job Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Developer in the technical upgrade from 8.9 to 9.1 of the PeopleSoft Human Resources modules
- Refine and decompose requirements to the level of detail required to initiate coding
- Implement code as specified in the upgrade
- Assist with technical planning, analysis, development and testing activities during the PeopleSoft upgrade
- Reapply service packs and upgrades, retrofit and transfer customizations
Skills/Experience Required:
- Advanced ability to create technical documentation, program specifications and develop technical testing requirements
- Extensive experience as a technical developer for PeopleSoft upgrades, specifically 8.9 to 9.1 preferred
- Multi-language experience on upgrades or implementations a plus
